Transfers pictures to fabric….

Dylon Image Maker allows you to transfer favourite pictures to T-shirts, wall hangings, bags or any washable garment you choose. You can transform your clothes into original garments with a picture of yourself, your family, friends, pets or whoever or whatever you like.

Simply select a favourite picture and take a photocopy of it. Both black and white and colour photocopies can be used. The Image Maker process reverses your image so always select pictures without words and numbers or alternatively obtain a reverse photocopy of your picture.

For best results choose white or light coloured fabric. If you transfer an image onto a coloured background it will show through. If you wish to transfer your picture onto a dark fabric or to maintain a white background to your image, then apply white fabric paint to the exact area first and be sure paint has dried.

Step-by-Step

  1. Brush Image Maker onto the photocopy of your picture and place on garment.
  2. Gently and steadily rub away backing to reveal transferred image. Do not rub too hard and ensure paper is damp during removal of backing.
  3. Apply a further coat of Image Maker to seal your picture.
  4. The result is permanent and machine washable (gentle cycle, warm water 30C).

General Tips

  • Generally the larger the photocopy being transferred the thicker the layer of Imager Maker paste required; e.g. A3 size will need a thicker paste layer than A4.
  • One 50ml tube is sufficient for approximately two A4 applications.
  • Always turn garments inside out when washing and dry flat.
  • Do not dry clean and Do not iron directly onto the transferred design.
