Machine Dyes
for top-loading washing machines
|
- Gives permanent colour to cotton, linen and viscose.
- Lighter shades are obtained on polyester/cotton mixes.
- One pack will dye up to 500g/1lb of dry weight
fabric.
- Add 1kg/2.2lb of salt, regardless of the number of
packs used.

How to use Machine Dye
PLEASE READ INSTRUCTIONS IN EACH PACK
- Wash fabric thoroughly and leave damp.
- Set the machine for longest hot wash program and lowest water level to cover the fabric, allowing free movement.
- When the machine is full, add the dye and 1kg salt directly to the water.
- Allow the machine to agitate for about 1 minute and then add the damp fabric.
- Ensure the fabric is in the dye solution for at least 30 minutes. (Interrupt the program and re-set if necessary).
- When program is finished, add wash powder and run hottest program for the fabric.
